Yesterday was agrey and rainy day of carnaval. I had a couple of surprise and very nice encounters too

Snow-locked car. Driving it is a true 'mission impossible'. The owner has to wait until late spring!

Nikon Zf with the Artralab Nonikkor 36mm f/1.4. My notes say this is at f/5.6 at which point the lens is quite sharp, but background bokeh starts to fall apart.

The Cityhall and the three stages of architecture. 

The Lakenhal (a cloth hall 15th century) and the 14th-century Belfry beside it are now incorporated with the moderner City Hall complex on the main square (Neo-renaissance 19th century). The hall and belfry are part of the Belfries of Belgium and France World Heritage Site for their civic importance and architecture
