Not sun here as of today but sunny people. Still from Monnday when Thomas and I got together.

This is Juan, a very old friend from teenage mischief years  ;) with his partner.

  D3S, 58mm 1.4g (how do I love this  lens)
Great portrait with this great lens

I repeated my stitching project with the  TV-Heligon and this time made sure all frames were better aligned. Final quality was visibly improved now. However, as the captures still were made by hand-held camera, there is even more room for improvement.

Nikon Z30 with Rodenstock TV-Heligon 50mm f/0.75, small crop of stitched panorama (N=15 frames). Still snowing if viewers wonder about the white specks -- they are not due to image noise :)

Another oldie on my Zf, here the Voigtländer 21mm f/4 Skopar in Nikon S mount, from about 2005. It's a nice lens and tiny by modern standard. The main drawback is near limit only being 0.9m, which was standard for the rangefinder lenses in their time.

Morning sun breaks through the fog and renders the landscape in a wash of golden hues.

A Bluebird of happiness on a gloomy winter day. This one landed amidst a swarm of the regulars who come to my feeder. Unusual because Bluebirds don’t feed on such stuff. A good omen I think. Twenty minutes later, the snow stopped, and the sun came out as I was processing the photo. The room lit up!
