No snow here in my part of the UK yet :(
Earlier this week, there were clear blue skies and soft golden later afternoon light

River Glomma, the largest watercourse in Norway, now has frozen all over. Solid ice covered by wind-blown snow. This is a rare incident and I cannot remember last time :(

Some snow this morning most has melted this afternoon,

It's been exceptionally cold in my location. The photo shows the total amount of snow so far this year. We do need precipitation in any form due to drought; but were it my choice I'd rather have something other that the sleet is predicted for Monday  :-\

A seasonal game similar to that involving hidden cars, but with fewer takers, is the one entitled  'Where is my bicycle'. Players are enthusiastic, however, and don't care about the playing field being less densely populated.

Many use their bikes during winter, often bikes are equipped with spiked tyres.

Dorm room bickering.
Bycatch of the Great Cormoran European counting day. Egrets often use the same dormitories but arrive much later, in near dark.
