We are currently "enjoying" winter in my neck of the woods. With much more snow predicted to arrive shortly and temperatures plummeting to -22C and even towards -40C inland. I'm already discussing with my friend Paco in Cádiz when I can seek relief there, if only for a week or so.

The tiny Voigtländer (by Cosina) 21mm f/4 Skopar in Nikon S mount, on my Z fc. The street lights and and car headlights are insufficient to bring in enough photons thus ISO had to be hiked up to 3200 or thereabouts. Still, shutter speeds were slower than I like and freezing my butt and fingers off didn't do image sharpness much good either.

Birna,
That is a beautiful scene and nice capture, despite the unfortunate hardships it may bring to the area's denizens. Where I am located (central east coast of the US), we are on the edge of yearly snow maps and many residents eagerly await the first snowfall since it transforms the mundane landscape almost overnight. Anticipation for the first snowfalls is vigorously discussed and followed through long range weather models and hopeful interpretations. I trust you can retreat to a warm fireplace when not visiting more southerly locations.

Our housing is well insulated and heated,  thus being indoors is not a problem. However most photographic opportunities are found elsewhere. Being an asthmatic in addition tends to produce its own share of miseries under such weather conditions. I do like to drive -- fast -- on winter roads though.

Fortunately, Paco apparently was thrilled by my call for a possible NG micro-meetup early next year. As soon as my current commitments are completed and flights booked, I'll be on my way. Paco is no slouch on the roads himself.

Like a Norwegian summer - perfect!! Unfortunately, I have a pile of commitments to complete before I can migrate to southern shores. Will be there eventually, Paco.

View from our kitchen ... apparently, we have a winter condition here :) However, weather forecasts warn of massive amount of new snow and Siberian cold temperatures in the days ahead. Oh well.

Nikon Zf, Cosina-Voigtländer 25mm f/4 Skopar. (on a side note, it is a little unfair to a wide-angle lens to shoot it through triple-glazing windows and expect corner sharpness. The 25 CV did quite well, nonetheless)
