Nice, but why use the 45MPix frame? Then you have to set jpg quality very low to keep the posted image within our file size limit ??

Much better to reduce pixel size I(say max. 2000 pix on the major axis), then use proper processing to be able to render a tack sharp image. You will then have even smaller file size, and much better results.

Many thanks for the suggestion, Birna. I wasn't aware of this issue. What kind of processing do you mean - sharpening after reduction?

Kim: Always do a processing to maximise viewing quality. It is usually better to do sharpening at the final stage. Contrast enhancement might be done earlier.
