This lens is as brilliant as ever, esp. shooting against the light. Only the bokeh can be quite nervous, a consequence of overcorrected spherical aberration.

Test shooting. Should I  keep the non-modified Z6? Probably not, as results are mediocre. The camera lacks spiritual soul.

  Well, it was bound to happen. I disagree    I love the files from the Z6, detailed, flexible in post and very good size/quality ratio. For me, of course. Now much better with af than at launch. Can be silent. Z mount. What's not to like?
