The Nikon Z fc now has a bigger sibling, the Z f. In this photo, the latter seems even taller, however that impression is mostly due to it being fitted with an L-bracket which the Z fc lacks.
I 'recycled' a Markins L-bracket (designed for the Z6/7) to fit the Z f, as the new Foolography Unleashed 22'M device needs some additional protection on the left hand side of  the camera.

How did you adapt the 2.2/28 to the Zf? There is no FTZ there

It's the native Z version, Frank :)  That is, Nikkor 28mm f/2.8 SE Z. Not provided with the "S-Line" stamp by Nikon, but a nice performer anyway. I got it mainly for IR, which it can do passably, but these days it is often used on the Z f as well. If you are curious about the bigger lens on the Z fc, that is the Voigtländer APO-Lanthar 65mm f/2, also in native Z mount.

The FTZ often upsets the handling of  an F lens badly because the placement of lens collars and weight distribution are all wrong  -- at least for my hands. On the heavy and bulky Z9 the adapted lens fares a bit better though, but not on the small Z models. Thus I have added more lenses in native Z mount than I initially had planned.

Lille. Drizzle.
Zf, 50/2 AI @f/4. The highlight recovery in Lightroom ("HDR" button) works very nicely. Here it is apparent in the back (shop).

The Rayqual adapter is much more svelte. However, there is no escaping the feeling that the lens is too far forward. It is the price to pay for using F-mount lenses on a Z-mount camera.

My son looks pretty good at 400mm.

Nikon Z6, AF-S 200-500mm f/5.6E, wide open.

Test shooting. Should I  keep the non-modified Z6? Probably not, as results are mediocre. The camera lacks spiritual soul.

The pleasant atmosphere of the "blue hour" is beautifully captured.
