0.25 a liter, perhaps worth the wait for the station to open  :)

Still winter -- kind of. Good winter tyres are mandatory for your car.

Happenstance and good luck combined recently to provide me an AF-S 200-500mm f/5.6E on indefinite loan :) It is a bit of a beast to handle and I am just starting to become acquainted with using it. This chipmunk was kind enough to hold still and thereby become my first wildlife subject. This was wide open at 500mm on my Z6.

Thanks a lot, i like it. It does make me think a lot of my little area (Laarven), which looks deceptively similar  :)

Not gone hibernating yet, but I think I see some bulging cheek pouches so perhaps busy preparing for it by caching food?
(They do not rely on just using fat reserves as many other hibernators).

From the ugly architecture of the 'BarCode' quarter downtown Oslo. Overzealous architects havre done their best to destroy the city exterior for many decades to come.

November 6

Our figtree got a beating in the recent storm a major branch tore off.
But the figs themselves didnt suffer, despite the cool weather this summer!
