Daniel, this is the custom made circuit board of the string-picking mechanism of the computer-controlled robot koto (Japanese traditional instrument).  I thought the pattern was artistically beautiful.

But the guinea pig has almost identical colouring to a wonderful guinea pig we had a few years ago
(I can only find this head shot of him, but the rest was very similar to yours )

Maze for stray electrons.

First idea jumping at me was some high frequency high load design.
Based on the very organic looking design, smoothly bent conductor tracks avoiding high frequency electron emitting which could ocure at sharp corners and also very heavy (over) soldering for rock solid ground and power rails.
Some elements like the srcrew terminals and uneven conductor track lengths look strange for this use case, though.

Learning its an individual build for picking up an instrument makes sense.
It looks  real nice and astonishing organic

Many thanks Colin - yes they resemble each other a lot. Lovely animals - my wife and I really didn't want any pets but we did it for our kids and now I'm so fond of them.

There was a big social sitir when the spanish mail changed the logo (the one you see here) for the old one. They are so close as to be confused and it may have cost an staggering amount of money to do make the change. Go figure...

Sunrise is pretty early these days in Brisbane. This Blue banded bee (Amegilla sp.) showed up around 550am and was taking her time drinking nectar at each flower.

The circuit controls a dozen of solenoids.  The wide and thick soldered parts of the pattern may suggest that high currency is running through them?

Indeed, it looks like an artwork, which was the very reason for taking the image.  I couldn't resist.
