Dogman thanks for sharing your story!

I visited the maintenance shed for our old narrow-gauge railway to see how the old locomotives fared in IR. This is 'Setskogen' steam loco that rolled off the construction line back in 1909 (!) and still is fully functional. Guess factories back then understood the concept of build and quality control :)

It was pretty dark outside and even darker inside the shed, so I had to up the ISO to 6400 to allow reasonable shutter speeds with my trustworthy Nikkor 20mm f/3.5 UD on the Z5. The lens might not be the very sharpest 20mm in existence, but is superb for IR work. No IR hot spot and a smooth rendition overall.

Yesterday we had the end of the year show. (I remember the NG meeting in Granada attending that year  :) ) So, yesterday was at the Gran Teatro Falla, in Cádiz. Here, an amazing ballet teacher from Cuba, part of the human team at the conservatory.

Cinema Paradiso  :)

There are at least three of this machines, fully equipped, as a permanent exhibition at the Falla Theater in Cádiz. Lovely!

Apricot sky

Sundown at holiday location just missed the fiery red ball sinking but held the apricot skies in the aftermath.

Cinema Paradiso  :)

Great processing, Paco. It has a vintage feel that suits the subject.
