Ian and Fons:  No canals where I live, but very pleasant vistas.

Ian, a pub on the canal - now that is civilised.  Presumably drunken river boatsmen can sleep off the after effects before sailing on!  ;D

Evening wall. Right next to the church it striked as a strong catholic symbolism. It remind me of the crown of thorn as illustrated by our religious art.

David Austin rose "Constance Spry" nearing full bloom, the large shrub has been in the garden since we moved here 22 years ago ,
yet is some 7 years older, still going healthy and strong.

The combination of Z6 with that lens is a pleasure to use and it stirs me towards the minimalist images.
