Went to the exhibition of the photography/installation by Wolfgang Tillmans.  The collection belongs to the Louis Vuitton foundation, and the visitors are allowed to take pictures of the works, not only with the phones but also with dedicated cameras!

Sigma says the fp camera automatically mitigate the flicker in P and A modes, but, apparently, its effect is limited. I should have set the shutter speed much slower...

In England, one is never far from a pub. Even on the canal.

Ian and Fons:  No canals where I live, but very pleasant vistas.

Ian, a pub on the canal - now that is civilised.  Presumably drunken river boatsmen can sleep off the after effects before sailing on!  ;D

I went to an old cemetery yesterday.  It was interesting but the light was awful.  I still couldn't resist taking a few photos.  I was using a D3 and the 25-50/4 AI-S zoom lens.  Although I was disappointed in the photos due to the light, the 25-50 acquitted itself nicely with a pleasant depth in the images.

I am also a fortunate owner of a 25-50/4, a good looking lens  ;)

Indeed it is, Fons.  I only bought one fairly recently and I have enjoyed it a lot.
