Interesting that you get back to the D3X
It's an underestimated Nikon Camera.  One of the best, and the highest resolution of all professional DSRL's. Love the output of the camera, the colours and the unbelievable detail. You need to be lucky to find a good one.

There is apparently no escape this year. I recently fled to sunny and warm Spain to meet Paco and enjoy the weather. This morning I woke up to a white-out.

I'm doomed. Even my BB = 'Black Beauty' Z fc' couldn't avert disaster.
