uuh, nice.  :)
Reminds me of going there again. Westfjords are on the bucket list anyway.

Thanks for posting.

Mr Heaton came up with a user's view on the Z7_2.

This is interesting.  Thank you for sharing, Fons!

As for his review of Z7 II, he is complaining that the RAW file is cropped when he changed the aspect ratio from the full frame 3:2, but I was surprised and annoyed by the fact that SIGMA fp keeps the RAW file as full frame however I select the aspect ratio when I shoot!

This was new to me i only crop in post but then you'll lose resolution. I agree with him on the unreliable autofocus of the Z7.

I have had some good results with the Z7II AF. It is not up to Z9 standards, but I had a lot of keepers from a Birds of Prey workshop recently. Here are a couple.

Thanks, Fons, it was a great day out.

The lens was the 100-400 S.

Thanks, Paco, all were shot with the 100-400 S.

Here are a couple more kestrel shots with the Z7II/100-400. Perhaps I am going too far off topic.....

At the very least you have amply demonstrated that a Z7x coupled with this 100-400 Nikkor can be used for bird photography -- whether in the UK or most likely, in Iceland as well.

Perhaps a separate thread on the 100-400 would be in order?

Thanks, Birna, I think that would be a good idea. I can add more comments and photos relating to this lens.  Would you like to move my posts in this thread to the new thread?

Never mind the equipment, even in a Birds of Prey centre, the Kestrel is a beautiful and magnificent creature.

Thanks for sharing Anthony
