Zang, if your address is rhe same as it was in 2020, I have it here, and can pop screws of a couple of different lengths into envelope and mail within the next few days.  A few extras are good to have around anyway.

Hi Matt, yes I am still in the same old place :)

Again, just anytime at your convenience, this is not anything urgent. And of course, many thanks for your help!

Cheers,
Zang

A to checa!

Didn't think that is another Pole in the NikonGear!

And

:D

I actually came a long way to Poland but all my Polish friends told me, for them, I am a Pole. Probably considering how much I love the country :)

Cheers,
Zang

I always relive any scrapped lenses and cameras of their screws. All these screws I keep in a small plastic container.
Comes in very handy!

That is a great idea. I have a few cheap lenses, but they are too good to write them off, though. Besides, Minolta MD, Canon FD do not have screws of that size.

A good potential free source of camera/lens suitable screws, are old laptops.

For Nikkor lenses they use some very special screws for for instance the F-Mount ;) so scavenge some of those!

I have a bunch of old laptops but when I checked, the screws have bigger thread size, bigger and thicker heads so none of them were useful.

I have got the mail just now and I found 3 best matching screws. They are black as well so they fit very well and I am very happy. Thank you again Matt!
