Thank you John. It is impressive how kids this days have access to immediate picture taking and sharing, and how they use it non stop. My students "document" their everyday lives and share it as a norm. I reserve judgement...

Red definitely rules here

That color contrast to accentuate the motive is spot on Massimo. Love the texture and tight framing too. Eliminates distraction while keeping information to wander around the image.

Thanks, Paco! I guarantee, no color tweaking, the frame is like that, straight OOC, only reduced the pixel count to 800x1200

Green is trying to infiltrate, but red dominates. I have another shot with more surroundings, but I like this one in-your-face better

(the one with more surroundings would have a place in the RGB thread as there is a blue triangle of sky)

Two red dots seem to rule the frame.

From my "total trash" file--a snapshot.  Weather here has been a roller coaster, from single digits to into the mid-seventies Fahrenheit in the space of a few days and then back to below freezing again.  Early Spring bloomers are popping out only to become zapped by the cold.  This commonly referred to "tulip tree" only looked like this for a short time.
