Rush Cleaning, or being in a cleaning rush?

The incidence frequency of the root-galling fungi I'm looking for is  <0.1%, and the galls themselves can be <1mm in size although many are bigger (fortunately, but only 2-3mm, a very few larger) so it feels a bit similar to the Klondike hunt for gold nuggets....

Hunebed, or Dolmen reaching back 5000 years, after the last iceage 12000 years ago from rolling stones from Scandinavia.

When my search for root-parasitic fungi strikes gold, this is an example of a large 'nugget'  :)

Entorrhiza casparyana on Juncus alpinoarticulatus

Nikon Z7 with the Laowa 100mm f/2.8, the latter now largely replacing my old workhorse AF 60mm f/2.8 Nikkor for studio work. It offers better perspective due to the longer focal length and goes to twice life-size (2:1) on its own. In terms of sheer sharpness there is perhaps insignificant differences, however the Laowa lens has less chromatic aberrations.

Thank you Birna, Frank, John!
If you can find a taste of their character in the images, I feel my job is done  :)  Congratulations for finding that "nugget"!

I love the contrast between the stationary foot and the moving one.
