Thank you, Colin. I was a little frustrated at first that I could not get closer to the frog. However, this forced me to a more interesting composition, at least for this proud dad.

As Akira says, limitation is inspiration.

  It is. Lovely portrait of them both. Endearing. The separation by depth of field and lighting makes it possible to enjoy them separately and their relationship.

I know it is real and here already but 1/26000 (with three zeros!) is amazing.

Yes, very high shutter speeds with the Z9. No limitations with a fast lens  wide open.   Works perfectly.
