I accidentally turned on Portrait Mode on my iPhone 13 Mini while photographing Saul sipping rum.

I didn’t have a chance to play with the effect while shooting, but it is surprisingly effective.

(I had no idea this has been an opinion for many years already!)

I tried the 15/4.5 in the Nikon F non-retrofocus version, also on the Z cameras. This version is rarer than the L and both smaller and bigger at the same time, as it sticks deep into the camera throat but exposes a very flat exterior.  There is some vignetting by the non-retrofocus design, however, so I mostly use this lens on my Z fc. A nice lens in either design (I sold off the L39 model when I ceased to use film).

In these Covid-19 times, my standard pendant on a silver chain just changed from the usual Finnish 'Ugly Duckling by Aurora Borealis' to a newer DIY model. I might start a small business with these :)

Thanks for the clarification.

The vignetting is not too bad with this first version, although it matters which angle of light you use. And to my surprise it works pretty well on the Z9.

I stopped to take this shot because I was triggered by the warm colours of these logs. When I looked closer I was intrigued by the hollowed one below the log with number 159.

In flow…

I like the dinamyc and contrast here a lot. The flowing vs the fixed, the relationship between them and your spatial choice in the frame. It flows

I love the way that you framed the student using the photographer.
