Crappy low res phone image, but I wanted to share my first impressions, and sights, of Yakushima island.

Very nice Paco.  Good to find some time ;)

Theaters were closed for months and now will slowly open.  Here the entrance and stairs of the theater

Thank you all. I miss this place of ours very much when I have to be away for any reason

Akira, that Japanese plum tree exposure is very tasteful, thanks for sharing!

John, those - stands? - on the left look like characters from the latest "Dune" movie.
I'll not comment about covid measures here as it is not the place and  muddy waters, at best but in Spain, bars and restaurants have had it way more relaxed than theaters from the beginning.

Paco,  It's a work of art 'Sisters of Steal' https://www.tilburgers.nl/zusters-in-staal/

Just framed them in the image as they give  a kind of voyeuristic and surrealistic atmosphere to  the overall image and using the edge weaknesses of the lens.

More snow outside, so time to brush up on various techniques for later use (hopefully).

This is a test snap of a silicone wafer for chip production, taken with the (to me) new Mitutoyo 20X objective and the likewise new (to me) CHM-200 tube lens. Camera Z7. Apparently it works?

Paco, glad you like it.  I just selected "Adobe Color" in ACR.   ::)

You captured this beautiful moment.  Hope you would start a dedicated thread!

The Marina, Z9!

Yes, finally getting used to it. A few more sessions and I think my fingers will know what to do.
