Chevrolet pick-up '50 s

This Chevrolet truck design was made between 1947 and 1955 according to Wikipedia. The grill shown changed by 1954. My father's company owned a 1952 Chevrolet Pickup and so I'll guess this is a 1952 year model.  I can't remember if the truck I road rode in was a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton. I remember it was black had a foot starter switch.

   We are having a love affair  She stutter a couple of times a month ago and I almost took her to the doctor but it turns out she just needed some love. Is working flawlessly ever since and inspiringly so, if I must (happily) add.

Meanwhile, I discovered an old and rather dusty camera body, later found a battery and charger for it, and eventually a lens that would fit. Very nice playing around with such limited gear for a while. Makes a refreshing contrast to the razor-sharp Z7 files.

From the additional photos I'm guessing the 52 Chevy I remember was a 3/4 ton. My father's company also owned a 3/4 ton, 1963 Chevy pickup. I drove the '63 a few times. I was taking presorted 1st or 2nd class mail to the post office. That was decades ago but it doesn't seem that long ago to me.
