The bitterly cold weather leaves its tell-tale marks everywhere. At the same time, the cold clear air and the very low sun elevation make the distinction between direct and indirect illumination most obvious.  I must admit to have a longing for some heavy snow fall.

I love the contrast in colour between the direct and indirect light. However, I am the one who shovels snow here so please keep your wishes to yourself  :P

Looks freezing but beautiful!  Interestingly, it also looks like the Aerochrome simulation.

Beautiful light on the spiderweb/wall and very nice ice crystal growth on the roof, Birna!
