If you go own to the woods today.....
... you'll find no Teddy Bear's picnic, but deep, mysterious, shadowy depths and a set of winding steps taking you.....who knows where?

Never been there for sure, but all the elements look familiar.  There are many things in common...

This is such a pleasant way to begin my morning.  Lovely photo.

I was so sorry to interrupt this tiny roundworm his (or hers?) feast on the spores of the smut fungus Parvulago marina which had infested my culture of Eleocharis parvula. However, a dose of Lactophenol Cotton Blue was more than it could stomach so it just went belly up and died. Oops.

400X under the microscope. I later found this smut fungus hadn't been collected in Norway since the late 1800's. About time, I'd say.

The 16mm fisheye on the dx Zfc shows not as much distortion as one would expect.
Then in PS i corrected the distortion by applying the 16mm profile.

so many great images on this thread!

here is one from a recent ride where we stayed overnight
woke up to this with the temperature at -1.5°C
Once the sun was out  the temperature went over 10° and the roads were safe to ride

The AF-S  300/4   on the Z6.  Auto-focus works perfectly in this backlit image.
