Took a much needed break from the Aquatic Plant Project writing today and went for a hike in the woods nearby. It's been pretty cold of late, so many places still had hoar frost and I realised at little belatedly that my Raynaud Syndrome would hurt me terribly later on. Which it true to expectation did. Oh well. In winter I obviously live in the wrong country.
Anyway, deep into the forest the dense vegetation had prevented the chill to reach the forest floor, giving me a little relief, and then I stumbled upon a Beetle-infested section of the woods. How they had managed to get the car wrecks this far into the wilderness is beyond me as there are no roads around.
I shot the scene with my spare Df, which I had forgotten how nice it is, and the K version of the 35mm f/2.8 Nikkor, which likewise surprised me with a really nice performance. Had obviously forgotten all about that lens too, which maybe is an indication of having too many lenses I'd guess.
