Ruth and I act as "spare grand-parents" for several immigrant families in our local community. Today I was with Breshna, a very cute little Afghan girl. She proudly showed me all the dandelions she had picked just before I arrived.

There is NO science behind wearing a surgical mask to protect the user or others from any virus. I'm wittingly not using the "P" word here.

Although I don't know anything about her background, this "Afghan Girl" looks much happier.

It is good that this girl is in a friendly country such as Norway.  I worry about the future of Afganistan and the people still there.

I love the colourful dandelions - especially as we are now in winter "down" here.

Recently I acted as a consultant for a film team working to document the efficiacy of sun lotions. The main actress wasn't entirely convinced her sun lotion had any effect, so asked her to apply some while my modified full-spectrum Z6 recorded this in video. A frame grab from the HD footage convinced her :)

This is pretty convincing. She missed the ears and hairline.
