Rumor: New MacBooks enroute

I calibrated and tested the 15" screen of my new MBP 2016. Herewith the DataColor report which was generated during the calibration:

The analysis shows a gamut which matches the DCI-P3 gamut, largely exceeding Adobe sRGB and closely overlapping Adobe RGB.

I received the confirmation from Apple that the mini-DVI connection doesn't work with the new MBP 2016; and will never do.  So, bye bye, my cherished Apple Cinema Display (to the great joy of my daughter who will inherit the screen).  BTW, no trace of the famous, Apple distributed, LG 4k and 5k screens; reason: in Switzerland, we have these strange 3 prong power connectors and they have to produce a particular batch for here....

Only the 13" is available here in SA - the new 15" hasn't hot our shores yet  - I am getting almost desperate for a new laptop - might have to go for the 2015 model

If I was you, I would wait.  I had a quick look at BH; but no MBP 2016's are available for export.

Mr Floyd - I cant get a Mac from B&H - not shipped to me that is - unless someone is coming to visit and can bring me one. Even so - if I HAVE to buy now, it will be the 2015 model I think. So much cheaper from B&H at this stage. But I will try hang on as long as possible before buying at this stage.
