Yes, I save them all, many hundreds of thousands of them. It is a problem. I was hoping that with MF I can get by with short stacks, fewer layers. We will see.
The apparent DOF of a medium format image is usually less than an equivalent image in a smaller format (because you need higher magnification to frame the same subject), I'd expect you would need
more layers to achieve a "sharp" image...
