Gary, the wine country shot is beautiful. I could live there forever. The drive along those valleys must be enjoyable as well.

Gary, I miss driving the Wine Country  :(
and where it goes when it comes to Goa.   A friend's temperature controlled wine storage at his restaurant.  You sure do not want room temperature wine here  ;)
Shot last night with Sony a7II, 55 1.8  The staff keep that plate glass clean  :)

I like your last one a lot, Anirban,  mostly the contrast between the precise drawing on the fabric and the softness of the hand.

Keeping the bottle but with another content than wine. From the brunch this morning.
I forgot to change the non-cpu lens data so exif is incorrect. In fact 50/1.4 AI-S at f5.6

Buenas Dias Daily Updaters!  It is foggy today. Oddly, when Cookie (the pooch and my best friend) retrieved the newspaper this morning it was clear as a bell.  But an hour later the fog started rolling in, casting everything in grayness.

@ Airnban- The color images all tell a great story and capture some of the spirit of the event, the B&W not-so-much.

My wine country photos are from Temecula, not as old, bountiful or uniformly as delish as Napa or Sonoma. But it also only an hour+ drive away from home. If you search enough you'll discover a jewel here and a jewel there. The discovery part is half the fun.

@ Tommy- I don't think that anything in India would truly surprise me ... But I've never seen such a well stocked wine fridge in my travels to Asia.  But the times, they are a changing.

Today I took a lot of shots with my soul. Wonderful light at mass today. Because I served as an acolyte I was not supposed to, neither wanted to wear a camera.

It was a festive service with a renowned flute player accompaining the organ. Festive because one of our priest had his 50th anniversary of ordination. A funny intellectual and warm hearted old man, everyboy loves him. All the priests were dressed in purple and white. Great faces, great expressions, great colors....

Then I went to the meeting of a costomer supported agriculture community and met this old fighter. Very nice and interesting chap, Friedhelm:

Good stuff John. Those buds look like purple whales breaching up for a look around.
