Tamron 24-135/af-D

What I really wanted to share was this lens is a bit wider than any 24mm, or 24-xx that I own. My old Kodak DCS, slr/N had the lens profile on file, but it did not match. So I added, and calibrated it as new, which indexed the lens. Kodaks can index zooms, even non-cpu lenses.

By Kodak, it calibrated at 23-135. It is obviously wider in the camera's viewfinder. Around here, the lens frequently sells for under $100, making it a bargain of many sorts. It is fairly sharp, sweet spot, F8, but does quite well, wide open.

My copy is as good or better than all the Nikon, 24-85's, with an extra 50mm for reach. (Excellent walkaround, normal zoom/no VR.)
