I've owned a Q and a Q7 and most of the Pentax Q lenses. Pair these bodies with the excellent 01 Pentax Q lens and you've got my favorite set up for quick product shots for Ebay with terrific DOF.
For straight photography, I don't believe any C or D lens will compare to the exceptional Pentax 01 lens.
However, if "artistic" photos are your interest (especially those with unusual rendering or bokeh), then I say get yourself a Pentax Q and a bunch of old C/D mount lenses have fun!!!!
