Yes, I tried C1 too. Didn't like the interface.   When you are very familiair with ACR and PS it feels so  not logical.  I gave up with C1  ;)

That is the hard part with moving to C1 from Lightroom. Old habits must be set aside and new ones developed. I persevered and am now quite happy with C1.

Paco, I can only suggest getting cosy with the online manual and keep trying.

Thanks Ian, I´m on it. I´ll give it some time. It looks like the output is better than that of lightroom and the files look way cleaner and more defined. First impressions. Here, a picture taken with the D3s at 1600 iso, pushed 2 full ev in post and and changing colors, shadows, contrast and what not.

Street dots. Madrid

I´m trying to get to know the "capture one" workflow but I'm struggling with it. The output looks very nice but the interface is driving me crazy, I have double pictures in the folders and I have lost the work I did in a whole sesion...learning curve I guess.

great shot

Of course. But when a system is not logical (to your personal feeling) you can't get rid of the feeling of wasting your time.
I do like Raw Therapee and Photo Ninja however.

Iridescent building.

Just the right lighting for that. Where is it?
