Lumi is wondering where this water energy is that everyone is talking about. Closer inspection reveals.... water

In the meantime I am waiting for my 105mm f1,4 to be delivered. The mailman can't reach our house due to an impressive 5cm of snow and -6 degrees...

Where's the Water energy?
I suspect you already know this, but for those who are interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine,  it is all around us right now (of the 5 elements referred to in TCM, Winter is the period that corresponds to Water energy)

Back to your other point, a new monitor that was being shipped to me in the UK from Netherlands is also late (explanations given so far include The Beast from the East weather, plus Brexit import difficulties..... :( )

Taken this past weekend during another February storm here in Southbury.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

You people make feel the cold! Here the situation is very different. Even in Granada´s altitude today we had a very warm and sunny day, perfect for a walkaround with the Z6 and the 200mm f4 ai. This image is pretty much sooc with landscape camera mode. Wonderful late evening colors.

Thank you Bent, I´m happy to spread good things  :)

Today´s image was also taken yesterday, exploring the 200mm f4 ai. I´m really liking it! Here, again, used with the Z6 and ftz adaptor. Detail is rich and organic.

We have this quaint heritage railway > 120 years old running through my small local town. It's narrow gauge rails and the train sets are definitively small, so no wonder the name is "Tertitten" (loosely translates as 'midget train'). Steam locomotives of course.

This is the crossing sign where the tracks run in front of the local fire station. Nikon Df with the 85mm f/1.4 Nikkor AIS, late afternoon and very low sun elevation.

Amazing sunset!  And, yes, Ai(s) 200/4.0 is something to cherish.
