January 4

Lisianthus, pink cutflowers
Z6, nikkor-S 58mm f/1.4

The «inferiority» of this lens is what makes it attractive. This shot is a very good example of this.

New Normalcy Anno 2021. OK, I'm setting up a chat with my children so not *that* bad -- for once.

I dedicated a spare Linux box to suchlike purposes. It functions flawlessly.

Today it's the real  winter of the Nordic kind. Still, little snow, but pretty cold -17C so I don't envy the young lady walking her dog. Fortunately for all of us, there is but little wind.

I shot this as pure UV monochrome using a W-Nikkor 3.5cm f/3.5 with the Baader U filter on a NEX-5N Monochrome (thanks for the camera, Vivek). This Nikkor might not be the best in terms of transmitting "deep" UV, but it delivers results with an undeniable crispness despite being used with a hand-held camera.
