Thank you, Frank! Now I know what waits for this lens, and what is up to my expectations.  LZ

There will be more pics.

I wish for a more fine grain AF steering because the sharp slice is so small ... the transitions though are very charming so it seems to be a keeper for sure...

Seems a very capable lens, on this review to my eyes on f1.2 a tad better than the 50 1.8S on f 1.8 great job Nikon!

The test video is not convincing. Esp because he compares oof parts with in focus parts which does not make sense AND that he does not see that the 1.2 is obviously a tad longer in the focal length ...

Transitions are what I pay for and AF. There has not been a 1.2 Nikkor with AF. Now I have to learn how to utilize AF competently. Using MF is very pleasenly punchy though

With your permission, Frank, I've done some manipulations to your image. 10 mins, not more. Removed some spherochromatizm, as much as possible, color corrected a little bit, especially if you took it practically without any available lit, but the rendition is fantastic! Even if the lens isn't full APO, like some Zeiss's, the one is very close. Some sharpening added, about 35, in my old LR6. If there is a small amount of micro-contrast, the detailing is surprisingly high! Very, very good lens, your copy is simply shiny! THX, good luck!  LZcrop_FFF_3651_00001-2 by longzoom, on Flickr.

I will post some RAW files asap. Currently I do only use my phone for posting...

I was most impressed by some details in the fabric...

Yes, APO. Clearly diffraction limited like my large format optics,,, only much faster.
