Burano
« on: October 27, 2020, 14:06:31 »
The small island of Burano in the Venetian Lagoon is noted for its painted buildings. It was once the centre of the Venetian lace making industry.

The photos in this thread are a mixture of Nikon and Fuji shots. The colours are as accurate as I can make them.

Beautiful representation of the island I regrettably failed to visit when I was in Venice.  Thank you for sharing.

Very nice colourful series, Anthony. It seems Venice (and Burano) was very inspirational for you as you've shown us some great images from your visit.

Bill, elsid, Akira, Fons, Nasos, Luc, thank you.

Luc, you are correct, I was in a bit of a Covid uninspired period, and Venice revived me.
