What is you overall impressions with tc 2.0 III?

Shortly, in combination with the 300PF, the optics are of very high quality. I like it 1/3 to 2/3 stop down. I think limitations are in need for good light levels for the highest performance, and air quality when shooting at long distance (and sometimes even close). Here is another example of late year vegetation with TC-20E III, now with snow:


NIKON D500, f/10 @ 600 mm, 1/800, ISO 2000

Thank you Oivind I also read the old thread and I see from the photos that the combination is very good
I try to avoid teleconverters but now for the love of Astro I need them all ;)

thank you guys. subconscious eye at work. Against the light I could only see half of the scene, light shining through the mask and the figure on the right plus some framing lines around the scene. The overlay reflections I saw immediately when scanning my work of that day...
