Question: Identify this LF plate
« on: June 01, 2020, 13:53:20 »
I obtained this I can’t remember where, probably with some Large Format item. It is a very heavy steel plate 152mm x 120mm…. with a Nikon mount that clicks from vertical or horizontal. Anyone know what it is exactly and who might be interested in it?

It is in a nice pouch. Not sure what that first letter is in the name:

Michael,  I found this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Jieying-Professional-360%C2%B0Unlimited-Compatible-Horseman/dp/B075RYJJZB

Also a reference on Dpr saying there was a Chinese guy making under the name of Jieying-USA on ebay.
Seems to be a lead  :)
No help on the rest of your questions, sorry.
Cheers,
Tom

Here is the upgraded version.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/JIEYING-Adapter-Nikon-Linhof-Sinar/dp/B01MCV4ZFR/ref=sr_1_45?dchild=1&keywords=JIEYING&qid=1591030176&s=electronics&search-type=ss&sr=1-45

I've been wanting to snap my Z6 on the back of my old 4x5 so if you are interested in getting rid of it, I may be able to make use of it.

You are welcome to have it for the cost of shipping. it weights 13 oz and can fit in a box 4x5x8".  I live in Big Rapids, Michigan (zip 49307. I believe you live in California. Because of this virus, I am dropping off, but not going in and buying postage, etc. If you can figure out the postage, and send me the correct number of stamps, they will pick up a package of that weight...no more.

You can message me for my address. If not interested, let me know and perhaps someone else would like it.

It sounds like it fits in a flat rate envelope. Let me check into this.

Sorry if off topic, but isn't it possible to pay the postage online (credit card or online banking) and print the address label complete with the barcodes at home without ever leaving house?

Stamps? Sounds like rotary dial phones and paper cheques to me. And televisions with round picture tubes.  :P

I have decided to keep the plate myself. Too much trouble. Thanks anyway.
