My son's latest "nature find." I think that this skull is from a coyote.

Nikon D4, Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 AI.

the Z6 brings all I did love in the D600 and more. Especially with very old MF glass. A strike of genious of Nikon engineers.
We told you  ;)

May 13.  It has been very hot for a couple of days in Tokyo, and Althaea rosea started to bloom.
Delicate pastels, Akira.

When I acquired the Angenieux AF 28-70/2.6 I sold the  MF 35-70/2.5-3.3.   That appeared to be a mistake.  The optical quality of the manual focus is much higher especially wide open.

A few months ago I noticed a relatively cheap Angenieux MF 35-70 in the Canon FD mount. A beautiful sample. Had to wait long for the necessary Canon FD- Nikon Z adapter but now I have an exclusive Angenieux in the Z-mount  ;)

On the Z7  70mm wide open.

What are mistakes but practical lessons in learning?

Very 'cinematic' mellow rendition of your re-found lens.

May 13

One moment bright skies then heavy overcast, cold northerly winds, morning frosts.

Finally, after the national lockdown has been eased in some sectors, I was able to go to my hairdresser's again for a hair colour refreshment!!! My mobile strives to deliver acceptable colours under the harsh fluorescent lights though and noise levels are elevated. However so is my joy of getting my hair done again :)
