Yesterday I was searching for the minimalistic plant Myosurus minimus (Tiny Mousetail) which, eventually, allowed itself to be discoverable. It belongs to the group of plants botanist lovingly nick-name "belly plants", which is an indication of how they have to be approached when you are a photographer as well ...
Anyway, when I had done the Mousetail, and uttered a lot of foul words over the inadequacies of the Z system for the occasion, I let my eyes take in the surrounding view of grassland infested by the invasive Wintercress Barbarea vulgaris now coming into bloom. The pollinators really love it though, so "invasive" might not be the applicable term in a more holistic and ecological perspective.
Here is a typical view. Z6 with the 24mm f/2 Nikkor which is better than its reputation if you maintain the lens well.
