Thanks Akira and Paco.

Tried. Working with natural light, silent shooting and the 50mm 1.8 the shooting itself was very easy and fast. Using the Zerene program is going to take much longer. This is an image without retouching. I did use photoshop for contrast and exposure adjustments.

The camera arrived today by mail. I couldn't help myself. A few quirks but definitely usable and a joy to play with.

Z6, 50mm 1.8S, zerene stacker, in camera focus shift function
Nice, nice.  Have fun with the D2x   So tempting always to use other (new) camera's  ;)

Thanks John, I love the feel of the big bodies. This "Pollock" was taken using the D2X and the 55mm 3.5

Got an old(er) B4 (Mount) Broadcast lens from Angenieux  15 (times zoom)  8.3-125mm  f/1.7 and testing it on the Nikon Z6. The lens also includes the servo-motor for automatic zooming and focus. Figuring out how to contact it to a battery and get it working.  But nice results (in DX mode)

As in "a bit of a Jackson"?

In the cool, dim depths of a tree-lined river valley using this lens was ambitious
It's been a long time since I shot with it, so it was novel to hear the screwdriver whirring.
But I loved some of the shots I got

A walk in the "neighborhood" with D850 and AIS 28 2.8.

Edit: only 1 image per day, please.

With the higher temperature of april, the snow begins to melt, and some of it will even freeze again.
There is no illusion, it just looks that way.

Dandelions are free -- at last. Thus time to capture them, with a fisheye lens in UV :)

Hand-held so sharpness isn't perfect, but I for one don't care. The dandelions weren't asked.

Asle, I'm not sure where you shot the image, but your description would prove the crazy climate.

Your dandelions images are familiar to me, but are always inspiring.  The pattern of the clouds give a mysterious touch to this image.

And here's my take for today.  During the 10,000 step walk for the first time in a month!
