In spite of the Covid-19, in the fields life is still ongoing.

Yesterdays delicious paella lunch :) Smartphone (Poco F1) image.
   That looks delicious :)

Today I did my first try at focus stacking with the d850, 60mm 2.8 micro and the automated focus stacking option in the menu. After a couple of not so successful attempts, this came out. 51 images, halfway steps size, silent shooting, 1" between shots, zerene stacker. Even if this is very simple and uneventful compared to works shown here, it feels like magic!

   Sunglasses :)

Congrats Paco -- be warned, stacking is addictive.

I was wondering how many legs that animal had, only to realize it was TWO animals! :)

No, not yet. It just happen that the d850 was on the tripod when the idea popped. I'll gess the menu and function will be the same?
The files from the d850 are spectacular. I'm curious now. Lets try

One more fan of your Magrittes   :)

Tried. Working with natural light, silent shooting and the 50mm 1.8 the shooting itself was very easy and fast. Using the Zerene program is going to take much longer. This is an image without retouching. I did use photoshop for contrast and exposure adjustments.

The camera arrived today by mail. I couldn't help myself. A few quirks but definitely usable and a joy to play with.
