Lightroom query?
« on: March 22, 2020, 17:54:24 »
Yesterday I lost the coloured balls(red, yellow, green) from only Lightroom on my iMac and I can’t fathom out how to get them back, the other Adobe apps still have them.
Please help me get them back? It must be some setting I’ve accidentally pressed. Help
Nikon Z7, 24-70mm f4, 14-30, 35, 50,  85.

When you say balls, is it the same as the coloring in the Mac interface?
Or is it the color labels?

Perhaps your Lr window has been expanded too far, hiding those buttons from view. Try hitting the Escape key, upper left most key on your keyboard. If that doesn't work, try reducing the window size by dragging up from the bottom right corner of the Lr window, while holding the mouse button down. HTH

Thanks CS, I discovered I was in the wrong view, silly me!
Sorted it now, it had to be something simple.  :-[

I believe they are officially called "buttons" by Apple.

Keith, I never new what Apple called them!  Oh dear you have to be so careful with software “features” these days!
My problem was with Lightroom and basically my fault for somehow getting into the wrong screen view, and unless you know the software intimately, it becomes a bit of a fiddle to troubleshoot! Every little snag gives one another insight to the software in this case Lightroom!
Thanks to all
