Thanks.  No extension ring.  This lens works surprisingly the best with the Nikon Close-up attachment lens 4T.

You seem to have gotten the combination working well, Kim - particularly impressive considering the use of the TC! Really nice unusual frontal view.

Before the month times out, here is another one from the moose encounter some days back.
The Alaska version of the rubberneck syndrome?

I hardly ever post, but I've been enjoying the constant motion in and out of this nest in my back yard, so thought I 'd share.

I really appreciate all the wonderful images others share, always hesitate to share my own, but am feeling like breaking social distances...
