Day two of the Lock Down.  Yesterday was voluntary stay at home from 0700 until 2100 but some time during the night/early morning it was decided to lock Goa down for an additional 3 days (to start).   I have just recovered from two broken ribs so looks as if, an already bad birding season, just got worse.  Also caught the wife off guard so she is digging through the freezer to see what she is cooking.  So looking for things to shoot around the house.  This was with Z6 , 300 2.8G vr handheld, 1/400, 2.8 iso 100.

Fons, nice multi.
Bent, great colours and well captured.
Peter, such subtle beauty.
Birna, junkyard blues nice catch.

My image for today, captured during a short stroll along the neighbourhood.

Olympus E-M10II + Panasonic 35-100mm f4-5.6. Processed from Jpeg (really good basis those Olympus Jpegs).

Lovely pinks, thank you Luc.

Luc,

First image I saw today was Birna’s, then I scrolled down and saw your wonderful image and it brought me back to life.

Lonely walker

Great composition, Paco!  I wonder why some foliage is rendered in dark gray in IR.

Thank you Colin and Akira,

the darker foliage is because of a passing cloud. You can see the decrease of contrast in the shadows on the floor as well.  :)

I got these roses as an appreciation for my participation and photography on the International Women's Day, 8th March. A few days later, I went into a Covid-19 quarantine, and then no more chances of meeting the one who gave them to me. The roses suffer from the exile and so do I. Well, life has to go on. There is always Skype. So near and so far away. We are only separated by approx. 4m (neighbouring apartments), but it might be the distance Earth-Moon (without the transmission delay, though).

"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet"

Rodenstock TV-Heligon 50mm f/0.75 on my Z50. This mighty hunk of glass almost covers the DX frame of the Z50, so i just had to crop ever so little to get rid of the dark corners.

Birna, I seldom comment but do love these roses, and the story and sentiment expressed.

To all, really appreciate and enjoy these daily posts, especially during these times...
