Pet eye focus on Z6 catches a suspicious look from my dog.
Expect to be spending more time home with her the next few weeks.

Bent, it looks nicely surreal.

Willard trees pruned in a special way, outside a graveyard.

Even with our warm winter we don’t have any magnolias blooming yet.

I availed myself of the same subject as in my last post here, but this is a more impressionistic rendering. 28/2 Ai-s wide open.

A Beauty.  Working restrictions due to Corona Virus?

The normal Eye Focus works better for my cats, especially the black one. ;)

Fons, this current one looks much nicer than the original one.  :)

Thank you, Frank.  This is beautiful.  Interestingly, they look exactly the same, unlike the magnolia that is the state flower of Louisiana.

Thank you Akira

Nikkor 105mm f2.5 AIs on Z6. Retro look in post.

A delight to shoot this lens on the Z6. I did notice for critical focus I can't rely on peaking only, I also have to use zoomed preview in EVF.

Lovely with all the spring colors.
We had a lovely sunny day today, went out for some nature pictures.
Wanted to test the Z6 with the 200-500
Got this with the sun sparkling in the water..

True, Peaking has the same character as the 'green dot'  A nice aid, but not very predictable.  For me, the real strength of the Z6 and Z7 is the Focus EVF  Zoom-in (in combination with IBIS and all the Nikkors you can use without restriction *if you love to shoot wide open.

Works great with this light and the pastel colours.
