After a visit to a museum for a photo exhibition (Hilversum, Zilveren Camera) I met this old (88 years) man.
We talked a bit and later he agreed on me shooting some pictures of him.

Fujifilm X100 @ f2.8

Nice portrait.

Moon with faint corona, as seen earlier this week from the front garden

Love this atmospheric image, Eddie!

Yes, now I can shoot UV with a fisheye !! Even hand-held, thanks to the monochrome NEX-5N given to me by Vivek Iyer (the nice guy we ran into during the NG Photo Race in The Hague, last November). The lens is a SUNEX 5.6mm f/5.6 and a Baader U was used for filtering out anything other than UV.

This was just a quick and dirty shot at f/5.6, 1/40 sec, ISO 200, nothing of particular importance, except for a proof of concept. Under heavy overcast winter skies that tells a lot of the system sensitivity to UV. Good news for me for the upcoming trip to visit Andrea in New Mexico!

You like the 85mm/1.8S ?  Comparable with the 50mm S ? Or any 85/1.4?

More comparable with the 50mm S than with any of the F-mount 85's.

So basically it is a 50mm/1.8S  lens with a bit  longer focal length?
