Larinus in B&W.
« on: July 31, 2015, 13:30:51 »
.

This small creature is from the curculionidae family (Weevils).

Here is a Larinus, specifically living in Thistles. I put this image (which my avatar comes from) in black and white to give a touch of mystery, regarding the shape of its head. ;D

Df + Leica R micro elmarit 60mm F/2.8

# @5.6;

# 1/640 sec;

# 200 iso.

Thanks for watching, Francis

What a cool little bug! It looks like a minature Aardvark.

On the gear side, this lens seems to work very well with the Df.

Strange sometimes the flora and fauna. Can never get used to biodiversity. Always newly fascinated
sometimes it lets me speechles. New species to be discovered everywhere. Endlessly.

Hello Andrea !

I am glad to discover your comment ! ;D

Yes this very good lens works very well with the Df.

No preset aperture however, but I can cope with it.

Cheers, Francis
