Yes, the filtered lighting, especially on the sidewalk is very nice.

Rick - you cropped quite tight on the left side - makes me wonder what was there?

Thanks to everyone for their comments.

Elsa, on the left was a street with parked cars.  I wanted to avoid them as much as possible, thus I framed the photo this way when I shot it and then cropped it just a tiny bit more when I processed it.

I'm not always a fan of b/w, but this is really cool. I really love the shadows. I would hang this on my wall.

how about a portrait crop? Look, its my opinion only that I am not fond of the composition here - and obviously its your show - so you do it as you see it - its just my opinion  ;)

You know what is weird?  For some reason, and I am not sure why, but a lot of my stuff I tend to crop into an almost square format.  I shot medium format 6x6 cameras for a few years, but I don't think that is the reason I crop the way I do.  It just appeals to my eye, I suppose.  But then again, it never hurts to try new things.... 8)

The nearly shadowed trunks, IR-image-like leaves and two walking figures makes this image special to me.  I would have liked the figure on the left was clearly separated from the trunk, but that would just be an ingorable nitpick...

I like it It's pretty hard to get dappled lighting to work well, but it does here.  On the left I imagine is a city street.  Actually, a lot is left to the imagination like who the two women are...
