A mixed bag ona a day of mixed weather
« on: January 28, 2020, 10:58:56 »
Finally I managed to get out with a camera, after a long time when I never took a single picture,

1. and 3. Frosted conifers in  Glen Ogle.
2. Remnants of the forest below Beinn Ghlas
4. Silhouetted trees, Glen Eyre
5. Frosted shrub,Killin

I like your mixed bag David. And I agree about No.2.

I hope that you are well and that health is not the cause of camera separation.

#2 is also my favorite.  Love the rhythm created by the trees.  It's always nice to see your images, Dave!

Five stars awarded David for his return. And my vote goes to #2 as well.

Thank you all very much for making me feel so welcome again. It's good to have such friends, even when they are scattered around the world. I've said this before and no doubt I will say it again in the future - yes, NG is about photography, but underneath it is really about friendship. (I am so ashamed of Brexit. I hate that word.)

This is the third time I have tried to make a return to photography and NG - perhaps this time  I can make it stick. There is no hiding from the fact that my health has been very poor, with multiple problems, but it is better now than it was - and that is what I have to concentrate on.

There is no doubt - #2 was easily the best in that little batch.

I like #1, though I feel the sky peeking in at the upper right detracts from the layers and could be fixed with a minor crop.

David, always enjoy your images, glad your health is better now, that you've been able to get out into that wonderful landscape surrounding you there. Take care...
