I agree, but the gallery doesn't work for me - it would be much easier if there was a facility to upload files directly from the user's machine directly to the forum post - as I have included on the Nikon DSLR Forum I admin and code for.

Is there no SMF mod to allow that?

That is an "attachment" rather than an "inserted" image - I guess it works but not in the way I would want.
 
Hmm. can't preview the post so I guess I will have to post and see whether this works ...

edited to add:

... yes, but all the images are appended to the end of the post which is very different to being able to insert images into the post itself,  to do that you need to use the insert image editor button which requires an URL.

That is what I have always done also.

That must be a Mac - us PC owners don't get all those options!

Only use my desk top computer... Not a mac of any kind.
If you don't like the image after you have POST because it does not show the photo. You can still Modify your photo by checking the one you don't like and Save it with a new one. Have done it on several photos untill I get what I like.

Btw I like the image of the face in the snow :)
